Organisers estimated that more than 5 000 people joined the London Slutwalk from Piccadilly to Trafalgar Square on the 11th of June 2011. The London Slutwalk is part of a global protest movement sparked by the comments of a Canadian policeman who advised students to "avoid dressing like sluts" if they didn't want to be victimised.
